Circuit World Visits Plessey Circuits: Secretary of State for industry opens £5 million PCB plant

Abstract

In a climate of economic unrest and limited job availability, it is always encouraging to hear of industrial ventures which help to alleviate the gloomy situation. The North East development area, and more specifically South Shields, has recently been injected with new hope in the creation of about 200 job opportunities at Plessey Telecommunications.
