Transforming bankers trust from retail to wholesale
Abstract
A Strategy for corporate survival is, by definition, a response to a challenge. In the financial services industry, the challenge to the economic survival of money center commercial banks is clear and present. Can they continue to exist in a field crowded with competitors who are not as impeded by regulations, who are therefore more cost effective and competitive than commercial banks, and who are steadily gaining market share, particularly in the high‐quality end of the business?
