The Future Through The Keyhole: Some Thoughts On Employment Patterns
Abstract
Since the end of the Great Depression in the thirties, there has been, until recently, a slow but steady and almost predictable development in the relationship between the employer and the employee. In the last few years, however, significant changes have begun to take place in what had become the conventional pattern of employment. In this article, both the conventional and the new lines of thinking will be discussed, the implications of the emerging pattern assessed, and proposals for action made.
