CDS 224 Autodial Modem and PC‐Talk III

Abstract

In the summer of 1984, Sam Houston State University library began using an M300 Workstation for DIALOG database searching, with a 2400‐baud CDS 224 Autodial Modem and PC‐Talk III as the communication software. To reduce the workload on the Workstation, about a year ago we purchased a second IBM PC for the database searches. But we are still using the CDS 2400‐baud modem and PC‐Talk III as the communication software.
