Abstract
IT IS NOW some time since the Equal Pay Act received the blessing of Parliament, and the more ambitious firms initiated moves towards its implementation. These have in the main progressed rather slowly using current prices and incomes restrictions as an excuse for soft pedaling on reducing wage differentials between the sexes.
