Abstract
Proper planning can be a make‐or‐break factor in business profitability — yet too many companies still fail to acknowledge its real value, says Rolf Walles. Here, Walles describes a Swedish project which shows that “planning is not merely an administrative part of production but the very origin of its economic performance”.
