Abstract

With the notable exception of State benefit to strikers' families, most of the Conservative Government's proposals for labour relations reform are not that extreme, argues Stanley Alderson. It's Margaret Thatcher's ‘tough talk’ — rather than Tory policies — which has caused union antagonism.
