Subscribers also receive the journal archive on CD-ROM.

Access to the Wider Literature

This service enables users to find out what else has been published recently on topics covered by the journal. Articles are carefully selected for topicality and relevance, no matter where the original article appeared. The frequently updated archive of article abstracts enables users to scan the entire literature universe to find the information relevant to their needs.

Reference Linking/Distributed Publishing

1999 will see the introduction, for many journals, of links from the article references to the full text of the referred article. This is made possible through collaborative linking with a range of bibliographic databases and internal linking within the Emerald Library. The service will allow users to enjoy rapid document retrieval from other electronic journals to which they subscribe.

E-mail Alert Service

Instant notification of new articles as soon as they are available online. Combining "early warning" with instant full text access, the alert service keeps subscribers abreast of the latest published research. Network Licence

The subscription includes a network licence which is not limited by the number of users. Access can be provided across the whole of the subscribing organization's domain within a single country (world-wide for academic institutions) ­ by domain name, IP address or by username and password. Organizations which extend across several countries are invited to contact MCB to discuss their particular licensing requirements.
