Highlights the resurgence of interest in organizational development interventions to improve organizational culture and performance. Discusses what organizational development is and its potential to support organizations to rebuild themselves after cutbacks and redundancies. Considers the relationship between organizational development and human resource management, noting the overlap between them but underlining that organizational development has a wider and more strategic remit and involves different skills.
