Explains how the talent development team at Deloitte uses crowd sourcing to create training modules. Describes crowd sourcing as engaging a diverse group of people to solve problems and sets out how Deloitte’s talent development team uses crowd sourcing principles in its instructional design workshops which are attended by employees from across the organization. Splits the process into seven steps which move from agreeing what the training should achieve, through the generation and comparison of design concepts by the participants in the instructional design workshops, to presenting the chosen training design to the stakeholders for feedback before finalizing the training design. Points out that this new approach has reduced the time taken to develop training because of the improved connection and collaboration between the stakeholder, subject matter resource and the talent development team.ISSN: 1535-7740Reference: 41AH923
