Walking the walk!
I recently attended a conference on technology at which the rallying cry was Mobility! Mobility! Mobility! That is evidently what we are all demanding. So how was this conference different? Well, it wasn’t really. We were all in the same place, listening to the same speakers with their standard PowerPoint presentations. Why weren’t we in different places – preferably on the move? I’ve seen a couple of attempts at different forms of conference event, but the traditional model seems to remain dominant. Either that’s because it works well, or we have a lack of creativity in designing new forms of conferencing.
