Record breaker

On 7 July at Constanta, DPI’s container terminal operation in Romania, the port operator turned around the ZIM Marmara Sea in a total number of 2,425 moves within 33.33 work hours. This is the largest number of moves per single vessel ever handled at the Port of Constanta.

This new record follows from DPI’s other recent achievements in Caucedo in the Dominican Republic, where the company turned the MSC Panama around with 906 moves in 8.33 hours in June. The net crane productivity was over 50 moves per hour. Similarly at the Jeddah South Container Terminal, DPI set a new port record of 222 berth moves per hour on 2 January this year.
