Pakistan improves logistics

The productivity and competitiveness of our products has been improved at the domestic and international level as a result of the steps taken by the government for a better logistics chain, Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said.

The Prime Minister said under the National Trade Corridor (NTC) plan steps have to taken to improve all aspects of logistics chain. Railways are being modernized and highways and roads are under construction.

Simplification of the customs’ procedures and processes at ports, airports and borders has significantly reduced the clearance times.

He said distances have been reduced and speed of the movement of goods and people has been improved under NTC.
