Los Angeles, California, 4 December 2001: Infotrieve, announced partnerships with the American Psychological Association, Emerald, and IFIS Publishing to deliver complete-text (formatted text and graphics) articles for citations found in each company's bibliographic databases. This is part of Infotrieve's ongoing strategy to simplify and automate the process of delivering published literature in a copyright protected environment.

Infotrieve enters these partnerships enthusiastic about the opportunity to make its industry-leading document delivery service even more broadly accessible by partnering with respected secondary publishers. End users of each bibliographic database will appreciate the convenience of ordering complete-text articles by clicking on embedded links, which exports a citation into Infotrieve's Web-based shopping cart. Many of the articles may be delivered on a pay-per-view basis in PDF format from Infotrieve's growing collection of eContent. For articles not available for immediate download, Infotrieve will supply photocopies through the end user's preferred delivery method.

These partnerships will cover the PsycINFO database on APA's search system, Emerald Full Text Database, Emerald Management Reviews and Emerald Abstracts, and IFIS Publishing's forthcoming implementation of FSTATM direct from IFIS – a database of 600,000 food science, food technology and food-related human nutrition abstracts offered directly from IFIS for the first time.
