Deckel Maho Pfronten and Neos Robotics AB signs license agreement

Neos Robotics AB and Deckel Maho GmbH Pfronten have announced their recently signed contract meaning that Deckel Maho Pfronten has bought a license for use of the Tricept patent. Deckel Maho Pfronten has developed a new larger Tricept model, the Tricept Module 1005. The new Tricept 1005 will be built-in in Deckel Maho's machine tools, which will mainly be used for machining of tougher and harder materials such as steel. Neos Robotics keeps the exclusivity of selling the Tricept Module 1005 to other integrators worldwide (Plate 1).

Per-Anders Holmström, President of Neos Robotics AB, says the contract with Deckel Maho Pfronten reinforces the position of the Tricept Technology on the machine tool market. “For Neos Robotics this is an important step towards a worldwide acceptance of this new technology and also an enormous foundation for growth, since Deckel Maho is one of the top two machine tool builder in the world”, he says.
