The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Certificate Programme aims to capture cutting-edge information and bring it to participants in a highly interactive, adult learner focused style. This programme provides a well-rounded understanding of the human performance improvement field. Each course combines readings, classroom exercises, group activities and the opportunity to apply the knowledge to real work situations.

The six courses are:

  • Human performance improvement in the workplace

  • Evaluating performance improvement interventions

  • Analysing human performance

  • Selecting and designing performance improvement interventions

  • Learning technologies for improving performance

  • Transitioning to human performance improvement.

On completion of the six courses, participants will receive the ASTD Certificate in Human Performance Improvement, demonstrating that they possess the knowledge and skills needed to take an active role in the field's transition to human performance improvement. These courses are now being offered at select locations throughout the US as well as outside the US.
