All the above publications are available free from:All the above publications are available free from:First take the European Commission "bowl", put in young university graduates (minimum four years' course) from all around Europe, no older than 30, called stagiaires, add some interesting jobs in the Commission in Brussels and Luxembourg, spice it all with the excitement of cultural and social activities at weekends and in the evenings, throw in some interesting trips to Berlin, Prague or Strasbourg, and shake the mixture for five months. What come out are 600 stagiaires (trainees) undergoing a five-month training period (stage) at the Commission to see how it works.

Training periods start in March and October each year (deadlines for applications are 30 September and 31 March, respectively).
