Centra, a provider of solutions for live e-business collaboration, has announced significant international expansion with the addition of three new European sales and service facilities, and ten strategic distribution partner agreements with leading consulting, systems integration, software, hardware and training service companies. These new distribution partners will extend visibility for Centra in a variety of vertical markets through the sales and marketing of Centra 99, Centra's flagship Web-based enterprise collaboration software, to corporate customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to established European headquarters in the UK's Thames Valley, Centra also recently opened direct sales and service facilities in Ireland, The Netherlands and Switzerland, enabling the company to meet market demand for its live e-business collaboration solutions and to strengthen support for the company's list of European customers. Through distribution partnerships with Futuremedia, Next Learn, Two-M, Glass Multimedia, InfoSpec, 01, Degos Interactive, DS Group, Edutec and Tracy International, Centra will further extend its reach to customers in the UK, Benlux, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

"A product must be a leading application that is both one of a kind and flexible before Futuremedia will embrace it", said Mats Johansson, managing director for Futuremedia iLearning. "Centra 99 is the first live application of its kind to support the full range of online learning and collaboration activities that our customers are demanding and we are pleased to offer Centra 99 as an integrated part of our total learning solution and Solstra".

Already in use in over 180 organisations worldwide, Centra 99 enables live e-business collaboration among customers, partners and employees for customer interaction, collaborative commerce, virtual teamwork and online learning. Unlike other ways that business professionals collaborate online, Centra 99 enables large groups of people to assemble, interact, discuss, collaborate, share content and work together in real-time over intranets, extranets and the Internet. Instead of simply automating information flow, Centra augments human interaction and provides capabilities aimed at generating revenue, getting closer to customers, and improving productivity, while reducing travel, facilities and telecommunications costs.

Headquartered in Boston's technology corridor, Centra has sales offices in North America and Europe. For more information, visit Centra at www.centra.com
