Introducing an international dimension into your organization

Want to introduce an international dimension into your organization, but don't have contacts in other countries? Keen to develop projects with new international partners? The Central Bureau's linking services can help. Linking with a partner organization can:

  • enable exchange of ideas, materials and expertise;

  • lead to development of new skills;

  • provide an authentic context for language learning;

  • heighten cultural awareness;

  • increase motivation and enhance enjoyment of learning, teaching and training.

There are a number of partner-finding services, which are tailored to meet different needs. Some of these are available online and others are offered through the Central Bureau. They include Links Officers who are seconded by their home governments. They can generally assist if problems arise, provide practical advice on current activities with their home countries and visit schools, colleges and local education authorities, in order to promote and support co-operation between the UK and:
