Eurochambers calls for simplified Leonardo
Eurochambers calls for simplified Leonardo
Excessive complication in the European Union vocational-training programme Leonardo is deterring people from applying, says Eurochambers, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce.
The Association claims that participation in Leonardo is declining, interest in the idea of European training programmes is falling and so the development of innovative and collaborative initiatives is being hampered.
Eurochambers calls on the Commission to act immediately to make application procedures "clearer, shorter and easier," and continues: "European training programmes are a key vector for the construction of a European area of knowledge."
The Association says it would like to see "all EU programmes contributing to European competitiveness" simplified, not only Leonardo.
