Participation at the “ECOnetus Project”

MEQ readers are welcome to participate in the “ECOnetus Project”, which aims to provide support for networks creation in the field of environment (including climate change) in Europe and to establish strong cooperation between participants from member, new member countries (MC) and associate candidate countries (ACC).

Projects consortium consists of: Poland, Lithuania (representatives of new MC and ACC), the UK and Austria (representatives of MC). The aims of this project are to gather researchers interested in the topic of global change and ecosystems, to provide them with training concerning writing and carrying out projects within 7th Framework Programme, and to enable them to submit successful proposals with the most suitable partners.

What are the benefits of participation in ECOnetus projects? By participating in the ECONETUS project, individuals can:

  • promote their institution;

  • receive information concerning international partnership in research project;

  • exchange ideas and find common solutions for research project in field of global change and ECOsystems; and

  • acquire new knowledge and gain valuable practical skills in the following fields: proposal submission, project managing, intellectual property rights, and financial rules within framework programmes.
