Flip Chip Technology workshop planned by IMAPS
IMAPS is sponsoring a Topical Workshop (TW) on Flip Chip Technology, to be held 18-20 June 2001 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Austin, Texas. This meeting is an extension of the highly successful IMAPS Flip Chip Advanced Technology Workshop held for the past four years at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia.
An aggressive growth rate of 28.5 percent per year is expected to bring the flip chip market to about 2.5 billion die in 2002. With the growth of the flip chip industry, a larger meeting venue is required to satisfy the needs of the industry for current information on this technology.
The technical program will continue to focus on recent advances in flip chip technology as well implementation issues. In addition, the local chapter will host a table-top exhibition that will be included with the workshop to allow attendees to see the latest products and services available. The national organization will hold a focused exhibition for suppliers who support the use of flip chip technology. Contact Exhibits Chair: John Pavelka (jpav@earthlink.net) for details.
An outstanding program is planned with internationally recognized authorities from industry and academia.
