Introduction

Article Type: Introduction From: Pacific Accounting Review, Volume 23, Issue 1

This is the first issue of Pacific Accounting Review prepared by the new editorial team of Glenn Boyle, Mike Bradbury, Jill Hooks and Asheq Rahman, together with Richard Fisher who is continuing in the role of book review editor. We also have a substantially new Editorial Board, with widespread representation from New Zealand, Australia and other Pacific Rim countries. Our thanks go to the previous Editorial Board for their contribution to the journal and to Amanda Ball and Markus Milne for their excellent work as editors.

This is the first of two regular issues scheduled for 2011. In addition, a special issue on Financial Regulation, guest-edited by Hamish Anderson and Ben Marshall from Massey University, will appear later in the year.

We also wish to draw your attention to the Call for Papers for a special issue focusing on Performance Measurement to be published in 2012.
