Karin de Jager is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information and Library Studies and a member of staff of the Centre for Information Literacy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Her research interests include the evaluation of academic library performance, the role of the library in students' academic achievement and the assessment of students' information use and competence.
