SAGE full-text collections

The SAGE full-text collections service was launched in 2003 and is now available in Australia, Canada, the US and the UK. The number of users accessing the service reached 500,000 by mid-2003. Librarians around the world quickly recognised the value of the collections as a powerful research tool in their libraries, with up to 20 years of full-text back files. Users can now tap into 20 years of research as well as up-to-date articles that also link to Cambridge Scientific Abstracts’ (CSA) Sociological Abstracts and Worldwide Political Science Abstracts.

Users can search the collections together or individually through the CSA Web-based database service and go beyond citations and abstracts to access more than 21,000 full-text articles from SAGE leading scholarly journals in the social sciences. SAGE Publications is delighted by the reception that the SAGE full-text collections have received. SAGE is already working towards expanding the collections to address the information needs of librarians, researchers, and students around the world. SAGE Publications is an international publisher of journals, books, electronic material for academic, educational and professional markets.
