Becker Acroma increases production flexibility

With the recent completion of its new Small Makes Facility, Becker Acroma has increased the company's capability to respond to customer demands for bespoke woodfinishes, with a very rapid turn-around.

Fully integrated into the production system of Becker Acroma's multi-million pound woodfinishes plant in Haverhill, Suffolk, the Small Makes Facility was developed to produce batches of woodfinishes of up to 200 litres.

Semi-finished product is held in storage tanks from which it can be dispensed and blended to produce the required custom colour and sheen levels.

With the recent completion of its new Small Makes Facility, Becker Acroma has increased the company's capability to respond to customer demands for bespoke woodfinishes, with a very rapid turn-around.

There is also plenty of room for expansion in the future. The Small Makes Facility was designed to cope with twice the current level of demand and further capacity will be obtained by the implementation of shift pattern changes.

The new facility is ideal for efficiently supplying Becker Acroma's smaller customers. It is also at the disposal of larger customers engaged in the development of a new product look or finishing system.
