Pall gets to the core of filtration
Pall gets to the core of filtration
Until now, industrial filtration for high-flow applications has necessitated significant installation and operating costs. After extensive research into ways to reduce these costs, Pall Process Filtration have developed the Pall "Coreless" filter element. This filter element combines Pall proven "Profile" depth filter technology with a design that eliminates the core. The large diameter element features low differential pressure polypropylene medium, which means that fewer elements are required for a given flow rate. This results in smaller systems with correspondingly lower capital and installation expenditure and reduced operating costs.

Further savings are made by the ease of operation of the Pall Coreless filter element. The element fits over a permanent 316L stainless steel core, which is retained inside the filter housing. To change the filter element it is simply pulled up over the core which is then ready to accept the new element, reducing downtime to a minimum.
Pall Coreless filter elements have an absolute rating. Combined with a continuous graded pore prefilter, this gives the ideal combination for low clean differential pressure, high liquid flow rate and long service life.
Final savings are reportedly made by the reduction of the amount of materials for disposal. With ever increasing disposal costs, this constitutes a real saving. All around, Pall Coreless filter elements are the best option for high flow-rate applications.
