Brookfield receives ISO 9001 certification

Keywords Brookfield, ISO 9001

Brookfield Engineering Laboratories, Inc., supplier of viscosity measurement instruments, has just received ISO 9001 certification. Above and beyond the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9002 certification Brookfield has met since 1994, this event marks the continuation of over 60 years of dedicated improvement in total quality.

Achieving ISO 9001 certification means Brookfield has now met all standards with respect to operations, especially engineering design and documentation policies in R&D. Brookfield impressed auditors from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance by achieving ISO 9001 certification on the first attempt with no non-conformance issues.

Brookfield manufactures, markets and services viscometers, rheometers and accessories used in the measurement and control of fluid viscosity. The certification process was headed up by Jim Owen, quality manager and treasurer and Bob Bishop, manager of engineering.
