High-tech philosophy encompasses new offices
A manufacturer of woodfinishing systems, Becket Acroma has recently invested over £200,000 in a new administration facility for the company's high-tech production plant at Haverhill, Suffolk, UK.
To improve customer service, the customerservices, purchasing and product support departments are now all located in one office. This will promote internal communication and further improve the company's customer focus.
The very latest in digital phone systems has been installed to improve the availability of staff to answer calls from existing and prospective customers.
The administration office is linked into the Haverhill facility's newly installed computer network, which in turn is fully integrated into the IT resources of the Becker Acroma group, worldwide. This state-of-the-art system will promote the exploitation of synergies between sites, particularly in the area of technical product development.
The new office also incorporates a new reception area for visitors to the Haverhill site, together with a suite of meeting rooms and other facilities.
