Moldex literature takes the mystery out of RPE selection

Keywords Moldex, Publications, Respirators

Developed with the needs of the user in mind, the new Moldex range of literature has been specifically designed to simplify respiratory protective equipment (RPE) selection. Hazard specific, it focuses on resin substance groups; gas/vapour and dusts/mists/fume. Within those groups, the literature then provides both disposable and reusable respirator alternatives.

Allowing the user to select the most appropriate form of RPE by clearly identifying which type of respirator should be worn to protect against different hazards and concentration levels, these full colour leaflets also refer to typical applications.

Ideal for use throughout industry claims Moldex, the literature describes the features and benefits of different respirators such as the Moldex 8000, 3000 and 2000 Series as well as the new Moldex 4000 and 5000 Series. It also clearly defines which respirators are disposable and which are reusable.

Designed to take the mystery out of RPE selection and simplify respirator selection and usage, the literature can also be used in conjunction with the new Moldex Contaminant Guide.

Reportedly featuring over 1,000 potentially harmful respiratory hazards, the guide lists each substance in alphabetical order and suggests the most appropriate form of RPE. It also lists the relevant occupational exposure limits in accordance with guidance note EH40/97.

The new Moldex range of RPE is the result of extensive user research and forms part of a new generation of lightweight, comfortable, disposable and reusable products from Moldex. Featuring interchangeable particulate filter discs throughout the Moldex 4000, 5000 and 8000 Series, this new filtering protection range has been designed with the needs of both industry and the user in mind.
