Established less than two years ago, RaKeM Ltd has recently achieved ISO 9002 status for its quality system. Registered with the United Registrar of Systems Ltd, RaKeM's quality system covers agency, stocking and distribution of white pigments, fillers, intermediates and other chemical feedstock.

Registration was actually achieved in less than 12 months following a programme of preparation led by Kevin Rafferty, quality manager, with assistance from Bill Thompson of Bolton Business Ventures (Plate 15).
