Subsequent to the recent exchange agreement with Reichhold of the USA, creating more business in the Americas, resins manufacturer BIP Limited has appointed assistant general managers for its two synthetic resins manufacturing businesses. These are new posts, responsible directly to general manager Resins Businesses Barry Chisnall.
Jane Sims has been appointed assistant general manager within the Coating Resins Business of the company, producing specialist resins for the manufacture of paints, stoving enamels and wood lacquers. Steady business growth, even prior to the Reichhold deal, has required restructuring in this business to strengthen the overall operation.
Charlie Mitchell has been appointed Assistant general manager for the Paper & Textile Resins Business of BIP. This plant produces resins for many applications from giving paper wet strength, to enhancing the properties of woven, knitted and non-woven fabrics.
