The Nemo range of barrel emptying equipment uses the company's NT series pumps for fast discharging of fats, high viscosity and pasty materials from round and angular barrels and dissolvers (Plate 5).
Barrel emptying machines are fitted with flanged follower plates and hydro-pneumatic equipment to lower and lift the containers. The adjustable follower plates can be supplied with stripping cuff in a range of materials to ensure optimum stripping of interior walls and maximum discharge of material from the containers.

Standard models including static and mobile versions are available for discharging 20, 60 and 200 litre barrels. Capacities range from 0.4 l/min up to 40 l/min. Options include protective caps and door switches, heated follower plates, double stripping cuffs and two-handed control. Special models are also available for other barrel sizes and duties. For all models, Nemo also offers a range of dry running protection systems, pressure reducers and flow meters.
