Following its success in the South Africa market, British dyemaker WS Simpson has set up a new European operation in the Czech Republic. The new company, which started trading earlier this year, has already proven to be successful, and has established a strong foothold in the lucrative Eastern European market.
Started as a joint-venture with the company's Czech distributors, the new offices are located close to Prague and provide a sales centre to market the range of soluble dyestuffs throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Results so far indicate that the company will hit its target by the end of the year, opening up possibilities to expand to offer a comprehensive range of soluble dyestuffs and specialist colours for a wide range of industrial applications including foodstuffs, beverages, printing inks, textiles, cosmetics, plastics, woodstains, agricultural and pharmaceutical, into the rest of the Eastern European market.
