Dr Alan Rawle, previously distributor manager with particle analysis specialists Malvern Instruments, has moved into a new role with the company as divisional manager applications support. He is based at the company's headquarters in Malvern, UK and now heads a team of highly qualified people dedicated to helping customers find the right solutions for their specific particle analysis requirements.
Dr Rawle has been with Malvern Instruments since 1990 and has extensive experience of the particle analysis business world-wide. He has an in depth knowledge of particle analysis and a comprehensive understanding of its applications and practical possibilities.
In his new role Dr Rawle assumes responsibility for all aspects of applications development and support, a function that is fundamental to Malvern's business. This encompasses both laboratory-based measurements and in-process applications. Dr Rawle believes that the wealth of scientific and technical expertise within Malvern Instruments, and the high level of customer support that the company delivers, sets it apart from many of its competitors.
