Chemoxy International also brings its Safer Solvents concept to new market areas with the introduction of 2-ethyl hexyl decanoate.
For ink cleaning, degreasing, ultrasonic cleaning and lubrication applications, 2-ethyl hexyl decanoate is stated to be a safer, low-VOC replacement for kerosenes, white spirit, isoparaffins and many traditional hydrocarbon solvents which are under regulatory pressure.
Non-toxic and biodegradable, it is believed to be ideal for formulating with other solvents to help improve the bioprofile of solvent combinations.
2-ethyl hexyl decanoate shares excellent handling properties with other low odour, low evaporation products in Chemoxy's Safer Solvents range. These high performance products include Estasol, a versatile product for industrial and general cleaning operations replacing isophorone, glycol ethers, glycol ether acetates, cyclohexanone and many other solvents.
