High Quality Flexography (2nd edition)
Keywords Printing, Publication
This second edition of High Quality Flexography provides an objective technical update on the status of flexography as a major printing process, highlighting the technological changes that have taken place in the past five years. New chapters have been added covering environmental issues and UV curing technology and many existing chapters completely rewritten. The fundamentals of the process are examined along with the effect that the press, inks, plates, anilox rollers and substrates have on quality levels. The review also explains how to maximise the use of older printing systems.
The major environmental issues which have forced printers and converters to adapt to new regulations are included, not only in solvent emissions, but controlled use of energy and recycling. Other features include market studies which forecast future trends in the development of high quality flexography, such as UV curing techniques.
High Quality Flexography is priced at £75/US$125 with a 10 per cent discount for all Pira and BPIF members.
