Following a major restructuring of the organisation's worldwide distribution network, Graco Limited in Smethwick has withdrawn from direct business with end-users in the UK. The company's international headquarters, based in the USA, has signalled an intention to concentrate its experience and resources on core activities - specifically high-performance equipment design, development and manufacture.
In future, Graco will rely on business partnerships with progressive companies to promote its interests outside the USA - organisations such as Prodef Engineers which was selected on the basis of proven expertise in designing and installing sophisticated viscous fluid handling systems.
Prodef Engineers already has a long-standing relationship with Graco - not only as a distributor, but also as a specialist in its own right in the design and implementation of advanced technology fluids handling solutions for the British automotive industry. As such the company is fully conversant with engineering large-scale systems for the application of adhesives and sealants using the latest robotic "Precision Flo" and "Precision Swirl" technology.
