Paints for plastics enhance the finish of countless consumer and industrial products, providing protection, decoration and added value.
Trimite offers a comprehensive range of established and newly developed "Plastilac" paints and coatings for plastics, details of which have been brought together in an informative new literature pack (Plate 9).

The literature pack is novel in that each product data sheet on a topcoat features an actual sample of the finish it describes.
The pack contains details of more than 30 different preparatory products, primers, single- and two-pack finishing coats in the Plastilac range. These include textured, spatter, pearlescent and metallic finishes, electromagnetic shield and conductive coatings, and innovative "soft feel", suede and reflective metallic finishes. There is also a new water-based topcoat which has been specially developed for the teletronics industry. The products are believed to offer a huge variety of options to designers working with plastics.
All Plastilac products have reportedly been formulated to provide optimum performance and durability on plastic surfaces and comply in most cases with the latest environmental legislation.
