PICME's new engineers to tackle rising demand

The Process Industries Centre for Manufacturing Excellence, PICME, has appointed Greg Watts and Ian Cavanagh as manufacturing improvement engineers.

Geg joins PICME from a Johnson & Johnson company, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and Ian joins from Cussons UK, Manchester. Both men have considerable experience in process improvement techniques and projects; both career paths include a number of process companies and sectors and both will be deployed to tackle an ever- increasing list of PICME inquirers and customers.

Ian has a 1st class degree in Process/Chemical Engineering from Manchester University and Greg holds a 2.1 degree in Engineering from Birmingham University with further training in Six Sigma Process tools, Lean manufacturing cell design, ISO 9000 and cGMP.
