Surfex is a leading exhibition for the colour and coatings industry recently held at G-Mex, Manchester, UK. On the Glen Creston's stand, two new Dyno Mills, for dispersion and wet fine grinding of solids in a liquid phase were on view for the first time in the UK, the ECM Poly and the Multi Lab. The ECM range has reportedly achieved a significant breakthrough in performance - flow rates of up to 3,000 l/h with a chamber volume of just 23.3l, and a reduction in production times of, in some cases, 50-66 per cent are claimed. The Multi Lab offers batch (0.3l vessel) or continuous operation (0.3 - 1.4 l vessels) in one machine. Both new mills have optional computerised control systems.
