Industrial Copolymers reports the addition to its range of waterborne epoxy product range. Incorez 170 is an emulsified high molecular-weight epoxy resin in water, for use with amine curing agents in two component coatings. Incorez 170 is a low viscosity, white liquid. According to ICL, Incorez 170 will undergo chemical reaction with amine curing agents to yield tough durable coatings and primers for concrete, masonry and metals, including anti-corrosion primers. Recognising that APEO compounds are becoming a major issue to formulators, Industrial Copolymers team of technical experts is reported to have made Incorez 170 APEO-free.

The main intended application for Incorze 170 is in the formulation of fast-curing primers, either for metals (anti-corrosion primers) or concrete sealers and paints.

Danielle Moore, business development manager said "we are sure the addition of Incorez 170 to our range will be a great success. The high molecular weight enables the formulation of products with excellent chemical and water resistance, fast touch-dry time, good low temperature cure and excellent good anti-corrosion performance."
