A microscope or a spectroscope?

A microscope or a spectroscope?

Keywords: Jobin Yvon, Microscopy, Spectroscopy

Jobin Yvon has announced the launch of its new high resolution inverted microscope system, the LabRam INV800. The LabRam INV format is the only Raman spectrometer system of its kind which incorporates an integral full inverted optical microscope. The instrument enables the highly specific spectral Raman analysis to be coupled with the fluorescence imaging techniques routinely used in biochemical and life science applications where the inverted microscope is used for its capabilities for sample handling and micromanipulation.
