Sawgrass Technologies Inc., the US-based developer of digital transfer inks and BASF, have reached a comprehensive settlement of the patent litigation between the two parties. BASF will take a product license under the Sawgrass patents. "We at BASF are pleased to enter into a license agreement with Sawgrass that opens new business opportunities for our 'Bafixan' dye sublimation inks on a worldwide basis. This license allows our customers around the globe to enjoy the benefits of our innovative dye sublimation Technologies", said Juergen Weiser, head of BASF global business management for ink jet inks.
