Czech Republic: epoxy resins – new plant for Spolchemie and DIC

In the Czech Republic, Spolchemie has launched the construction of a new plant together with Japan's Dainippon Ink and Chemicals (DIC) for the production of epoxy resins worth CZK 700 mln (1 EUR = ca. 31 CZK), announced Spolchemie spokesman Zdenek Rytir. The plant, which is to employ 30 people, should go into operation by the middle of 2004, says Rytir. Spolchemie's old plant was destroyed by fire last year.
