The Asia Pacific Coatings Show (APCS) 2004 – one of the regions most essential events for the coatings industry, will currently take place on 3-4 June 2004 at the prestigious Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.
Following on from the enormous success of the APCS held in Thailand in June 2001, which attracted nearly 4,800 attendees from 43 different countries, the 14th APCS will return to Thailand for another busy event with over 100 companies exhibiting.
The product range at the show is set to include chemical and raw materials, test equipment, plant and machinery and paint.
There will be a high level technical conference organised by Coatings Research Institute (CoRI) – accompanying the APCS 2004, with the title “Innovations within Science and Technology of Organic Coatings”. The formulation, manufacturing and marketing of organic coatings are subjected to continuous changes due to economic and ecological pressures. To respond to these challenges, scientists and engineers are developing new types of binders, pigments and additives, surface treatments, testing equipment, production procedures and management strategies for organic coatings.
The exhibition will also include a series of free exhibitor business presentations.
Owing to the success of previous years, the 4th APCS Awards will be held during the APCS 2004. The award categories are: Environmental Award, Most Innovative Product, Best Conference Paper and Marketing Campaign of the Year.
The event is organised by The Coatings Group at dmg world media, publisher of three publications in the coatings industry, Asia Pacific Coatings Journal (APCJ), Polymers Paint Colour Journal (PPCJ) and European Adhesives and Sealants (EAS).
