Holliday Pigments appoints new sales and marketing director

Holliday Pigments, the world's largest manufacturer of ultramarine blue pigments, today announced the appointment of Steve Bell as Sales and Marketing Director. Steve has been brought in to help consolidate Holliday Pigments' leading position in the ultramarine industry as well as expanding the business and driving growth in new markets and territories.

Steve joins Holliday Pigments after spending 4 years as commercial director of Magna Colours, a speciality colouration company in the textile/coating industry. Prior to this, Steve worked for the Scott Bader Company, a polyester resin manufacturer.

A chemistry graduate with experience in finance, operations and the commercial side of business, Steve's extensive knowledge of speciality pigments, dyes and chemicals will add to the strengths of the senior management team (Plate 2).

“I'm looking forward to continuing to drive Holliday Pigment's rapid growth in the Asian market as well as introducing ultramarine blue to new markets”, comments Steve. “These are tough times for UK exporters due to the weakness of the US$, however the strength of our product range, vast export experience and extensive distribution network will ensure we continue to grow”.
