DyStar introduces new executive committee
DyStar introduces new executive committee
DyStar, a platinum equity company and a premier provider of dyes and services to the fashion and textile industry, has announced its new executive management organization. The company, which was previously owned jointly by BASF, Bayer and Hoechst/Aventis, was acquired by platinum equity on 5 August 2004.
As previously announced, Dr Clemens Willée has been confirmed as CEO. Additionally, Helmut Raulwing remains as DyStar's CFO. The other members of the new International Executive Committee are Dr Mathias Lütgendorf (COO), Alan Cunningham (CMO) and the Region Heads Dr Uwe Mrotzeck (Americas), Burkhard Straube (Europe) and Peter Zinser (Asia).
Dr Willée succeeds Alfred X. Rad, who retired recently for health reasons. Rad played a key role in the successful positioning of DyStar as the world's premier textile dyes company. He served as spokesman of the management following the company's establishment on 1 July 1995 and CEO from 1 October 2000.
