Tikkurila sold its industrial coatings company in the UK
Tikkurila, which is the company responsible for Kemira's paints and coatings business, will concentrate the development of its business operations in Northern and Eastern Europe. As part of this strategy, the company has sold Tikkurila Coatings Ltd at West Bromwich to a British company. Net sales of the operations totalled approx. EUR 20 million in 2004. The transaction will not have any significant impact on Kemira's performance in 2004.
