Brenntag to take over specialty business in the UK
Brenntag has acquired business of the British distributor Aquacryl Ltd./ Chemacryl Ltd., Kent. The take over provides the opportunity for Brenntag in the United Kingdom to secure the distribution in the coating industry of specialty chemicals from Rohm & Haas, leading producer in the decorative and industrial coatings sector. With this step, Brenntag is continuing to provide its expertise within the market of adhesives, coatings, elastomers and sealants to customers and suppliers and expands its network of logistics sites throughout Europe. In 2004, Aquacryl Ltd./Chemacryl Ltd., established in the United Kingdom for more than 15 years, clocked up sales of about 12 million euros.
